· Non-traditional student or a single parent/displaced homemaker, and a non-resident student

· Award given ranges from $400-$1000

Tylenol Scholarship

· Accepted from February 1, 2010 – May 11, 2010

· $250,000 awarded to various recipients

· Any person pursuing education in a healthcare career

Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation for Low-Income Women and Children

· Accepted from May 1, 2010 to July 1, 2010

· Five Education Support Awards up to $2,000 each

· Low-income women with children who are pursuing education or training

Women’s Independence Scholarship Program

· Applications accepted continuously

· Survived intimate partner abuse & has been separated from their abuser a minimum of one year

· Has applied to or is officially accepted into an accredited course of study

· Demonstrates a critical need for financial assistance

· Has sought services from a non-profit, domestic violence agency for a minimum of 6 consecutive months, and this agency is willing act as sponsor by mentoring and providing support to the student throughout her educational experience.
