Mary Charmaine Fleisher Scholarship

P.R.O.B.E., in conjunction with Lebanon County Housing Social Services, offers financial scholarships for graduates of P.R.O.B.E.’s Career Readiness Classes. This scholarship is in honor of Mary Charmaine Fleisher, who worked as a case manager for the Housing Authority of Lebanon County until arrhythmia (an abnormal heartbeat) caused her death at age 38.

Scholarship Award Range: $500-$750

Two (2) scholarships will be awarded annually on May 30 of each year.

Applications must be submitted by April 30 of each year.

Eligibility Guidelines:

  1. Applicant must be a graduate of P.R.O.B.E./ Lebanon enrolled in an accredited institution granting two year and/or for year degrees.
  2. Applicant must be enrolled in a field related to Human Services.
  3. Applicant must have a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Please include a transcript with application.
  4. Applicant must show financial need, academic aptitude and achievement in the field of human services.
  5. Two references/support letters – one academic and one personal – must accompany the application.
  6. Applicants are considered without regard to race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
