Gain & Retain Assistance Scholarship

Based on available funding, this scholarship assistance is unrestricted but must be something that will help you gain or retain employment.

To qualify the applicant must complete one of the following within the last 36 months of applying:

• P.R.O.B.E.’s New Choices Empowerment & Self-Sufficiency 50 hours course
• P.R.O.B.E.’s New Choices Resume Writing Workshop
• P.R.O.B.E.’s New Choices Quick Track Workshop
• AND a Budgeting Workshop + 1 on 1 counseling session

Additional Requirements:

• A Scholarship form must be completed and the request identified along with the amount.
• Applicant must write a short essay on how the request will help them maintain or retain employment.
• Applicant must provide verification/documentation that they have applied for other community assistance programs and they either do not qualify or only partially qualify.
