In 1978 Dr. Kathryn Towns envisioned a world in which success was accessible to everyone willing to work. A staunch educator and advocate for human rights and equality, Dr. Towns dedicated her life to making the world better for everyone. Throughout her decades of services, Dr. Towns was recognized for her work in supporting women find career fulfillment, advancement, and financial freedom. By developing programs and curricula catered to consider the women’s perspective, Dr. Towns was years ahead the rest of the world. Gender-based approaches are just emerging in best practices in facilitation and education.
